I have just put a hand knit Technicolor Dream Coat in my shop. The long story in a nutshell: this was a custom request. The customer wanted a randomly striped hand knit robe with loose ends hanging on the inside. The deposit was paid and I started the project. Each color change is hand done – the yarn is NOT self-striping or variegated. It took me six months to make this robe and the customer wasn’t able to complete the transaction.
So there was a lot of blood, sweat and tears put in this robe/coat. The customer was a size XS/S, so I can’t use it myself. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. It is available for sale in my Artfire Shop.
