I think this new color with the gold lame are much closer to the movie colors. The copper chiffon has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Hope you like the 2012 Zuul 🙂

I’ve recently been turned on to Pinterest. I’m not sure what the point is, but it sure is fun to look what people like! It’s like the ultimate in people-watching, but deeper. It’s a New Year!

As you could see from my Sewing Room Makeover photos, I decided it was time to get organized. I had been needing more shelf space for a couple of years, but had to make do with a few bookshelves. It’s so nice to have all my fabric visible on wall shelving – I can already feel the designing muses at work!

My wedding party orders have increased over the past year, which pleases me greatly 🙂 And my local customer base has almost tripled in 2011 as well! “They” (I’m not sure who “they” are, but…) say that it takes about 5 years to grow a small business. I’ve just started my 5th year, and I have to say that I’m glad I stuck it out.

My hopes for 2012 are to grow my costume line. I have many ideas for Steampunk designs and other historical costuming. My dream for a couple of years now has been to add a corset line – modern and historical outer wear, not the lingerie kind. If you have ideas of styles you like to see added to my shop, please leave a comment and let me know. I’m always happy to hear from you 🙂
